Painter Training Hits the Road…P2F Style!

Prep to Finish partnered with the North East Council of the PDCA for two pro painter training sessions in Medford, MA on February 25/26.

Sessions were held at the Sherwin Williams facility in Medford, with 31 pro painters over two days for both classroom style and hands on education specific to HVLP and air assisted airless spraying with both clear and paint grade finishes.

Prep to Finish trainers Todd and Scott.

Of course, Todd and Scott packed the P2F brand of fun into the activities.

This intro level painter training event was open to all levels of painters/spray techs, regardless of experience.

Participants explored best practices with the different sprayer technologies in waterborne finishes.

Sessions covered surface preparation specific to high level finishing, and sprayer tips and techniques in HVLP and aaa disciplines.

We built real finishes over the course of each day, step by step, broken up only by a round table Q&A/Networking lunch.

P2F is excited to take its contractor training program on the road, and to help PDCA paint pros accelerate their quality, efficiency and profits through best field practices. Our goal for this event was to send 30 painters back to their companies prepared to raise the level of their crews.

As always, P2F travelled with all the technical horsepower of its sponsors:

  • Graco
  • Festool
  • Sherwin Williams

We will be announcing more PDCA training dates very soon.

Tune into our Prep to Finish Facebook page for all updates related to upcoming painter education events.
