GMTCC Spray and Backroll Workshop – ’15

| April 11, 2015 | 0 Comments

P2F returned to GMTCC in Hyde Park on March 31, 2015 to work with Building Trades instructor Greg Stokes and the students in his program. These students have once again built an entire house in their shop, and P2F came in for the day to train the group on safe and efficient primer spraying methods.

IMG_8510The day featured use of two Graco 395 Finish Pro air assisted rigs, spraying Sherwin Williams Pro Mar 200 Zero VOC primer. Scott and Todd discussed safety and technique, then did a quick spray and backroll demo before coaching the kids in teams on how to get it done.

Always fun for P2F to see programs in multiple years. Also, we were fortunate enough to have Tim Healey from JLC magazine tag along for this workshop to help bring attention to the fact that there are young people being trained to enter the building and remodeling trades.

Check out the video, it’s pretty awesome.
